Medical-Surgical Nurses: Shaping the environment of practice


The next CAMSN biennial workshop will be held in Vancouver, BC June 17, 2012 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in conjunction with the CNA Nursing Conference.

This is our 4th national workshop. It is a great opportunity to network with nurses from across Canada who are as passionate about medical and surgical nursing as you are.

Mentors in the CNA certification mentor program act as advisors to nurses seeking support or assistance in achieving certification or renewing their certification.

 

If you are CNA certified nurses in medical surgical nursing and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in your nursing specialty, you may be interested in exploring this professional experience. Being a CNA mentor provides you with credits toward your certification renewal and an opportunity for professional networking with other mentors in your specialty. As soon we get your registration info about your study group; we will send you the link for the Medical Surgical Nursing Online 2012 Exam Prep Guide. A great deal of information is also available on the website designed to assist you as you prepare for your Study Group. In addition, you will find "Facilitator Comments" and "Participant Comments” forms designed to allow both parties the opportunity to work with the Canadian Nurses Association by providing feedback.
